How does AIO Player get onto the screen?
In three steps, with no one having to configure anything on the device.
Connect the device
Connect the box or display to power and the internet, by cable, Wi-Fi or, with the AIO-Cube, also via mobile data. The app starts and shows a six-digit code.
Enter the code in AIO Hub
Type the code in under “Add player”. The device now belongs to your account.
Assign a playlist
Choose a playlist or a schedule. The screen downloads the content and starts playing.
What can the AIO Player app do?
It plays what has been scheduled in AIO Hub, keeps the screen running and reports how it is doing.
Keep playing when the network is down
Content on the device
All files of a playlist are stored on the player. If the internet fails, playback continues.
Downloads in the background
The app downloads new content while the screen keeps playing. Playback is not interrupted.
Updates on your schedule
You set for each device how often it checks for changes. Large files can be moved to the night, for example on devices using mobile data.
Remote control
Restart and screen hours
Restart a device from the hub or set when the screen switches off in the evening and back on in the morning.
Rotation and resolution
Portrait or landscape and the resolution are set in the hub. No one needs to go to the device.
Screenshot and live view
The hub shows you what the screen is displaying right now.
Updates via the hub
You roll out new versions of the app to your devices through the hub.
Touch, kiosk and web pages
Locked against tampering
In kiosk mode, nobody at the device can reach the settings or other apps.
Web pages to tap through
On touch screens, people can use web pages, if you wish with a bar for home, back, forward and reload.
Open approved apps
From a page, the player can launch apps you have approved and returns to playback after a time you set.

Several zones, several screens
One screen, several zones
Video on the left, offers on the right, a ticker at the bottom: each zone plays its own playlist.
Combine screens
Several displays show one large picture together, for example as a menu board. There is a player with outputs for up to six screens for this.
Proof of what played
The player reports which content played and when. You see the proof of play in the hub and can download it.

Frequently asked questions
What is AIO Player?
An Android app that turns a screen into a digital signage player. It plays images, videos, web pages and widgets according to the schedule you set in the AIO Hub software.
Which devices does the app run on?
On Android boxes and on displays or signboards with built-in Android. It comes pre-installed on the hardware we supply. Whether your existing device is suitable is something we can clarify on the phone.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The player keeps playing the most recently downloaded content from its storage. Once the connection is back, it catches up on changes and reports back to the hub.
Is AIO Player a SMIL player?
Yes. The app receives playlists, schedules and screen zones in SMIL, an open standard for digital signage. AIO Hub creates these lists for you, so there is no programming involved.
Do I need a licence for each player?
No. The player licences are included in every package of the AIO Hub software. Packages start at €1,497 for 3 screens and 3 years including updates, net, plus VAT.
Is the player also available for Windows or the browser?
Yes. For Windows PCs there is the WAIO Windows player, for any screen with a browser the Web Player. You manage them all in the same AIO Hub.
Can I run touch screens and info kiosks?
Yes. People can use web pages and interactive content on touch screens, while kiosk mode blocks access to the settings and other apps.

Workplace
The display at the door reads the room's calendar
The AIO room display shows “free” or “occupied”, the current meeting and the next ones. It reads a calendar link at fixed intervals and does not book anything itself.

Power BI reports reach the screen without an employee account
